The unique diversity of the Demuris actinomycete collection, and its demonstrated potential to generate novel bioactive molecules, provides for excellent partnering opportunities.

Antibiotic drug development

As Demuris’ various antibiotic programmes enter the development pathway, the company will be looking for partners interested in licensing or co-development of these programmes.

Novel bioactive molecules

Outside of the antibiotic arena, Demuris anticipates interest in screening the collection for a myriad of potential activities, including antifungal, anticancer, antiviral, immunomodulatory, and against many other therapeutic targets. Demuris invites proposals for custom screening in any of these non-core areas. The company will consider a range of funding arrangements, from a simple fee for service approach, through to co-development.

Demuris has already been successful in securing grant support for collaborative projects with academic partners. Demuris provides access to the natural product collections, and screening expertise, for use against novel biological targets provided by the academics.
